A Bright Time

Yesterday was beautiful, not because to was yesterday, that would be funny. It seems beautiful today morning because I wrote for the first time over six thousand words in one day. And that feels very satisfactory today morning. It isn’t easy because to reach where I ended late in the night I had to start very early and slowly slowly, somehow leaving hundreds of distractions aside I reached it late in the night. Probably the reason this happened was because I knew this much at least it would take.

In the middle of the I happen to come across a youtube video that threw very interesting facts up in front. It said that we are one of the most fortunate generation who are curious and who already have an access to internet. Even though it has already been over a decade but it is just now that people are opening up to it and in next five to seven years, companies like google, spaceX, and Facebook are going place to place as many satellites around earth as needed to make internet reach to all the third world countries. That is  around over four billion new people. So this a very crucial, exciting and very interesting time to be living on earth. Never before these many minds were this close. So many Ideas so many stories and thus that many customers.

And probably that is one fact which no one needs to press on or say, we probably all know at the back of our mind that we should write each day. Not because we have to reach anywhere, but just a habit like this makes way to so many connected dots that we are at this time unaware of. Just open up. Like the other day I was thinking about world religions and their time on earth and still there is so much chaos and restlessness because most of the people who have a say, have not been able to adapt to the changing circumstances in the world order. And it is a well known fact that one who does not adapt dies. So adapt. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Try moulding something that has been similar for years. Challenge yourself a little.

To think that in next few years, say half a decade or probably even one decade our world population might reach at its peak to about 10 billion people on earth, it is safe to say that today if we can recognise it is the single best time in the history of human kind, where we are today, with that much access to internet and over four billion people still to reach to one has to start from today. And no one can reach and connect to anyone without words. Every big and small thing needs words. Be it mails, application, invitation, stories whatever you can think of would need to words to express your emotion, so write each day of your life. But will you?

Hello, My name is Narayan. I am a teacher and an Ethnographer. After college i opted for teaching in far away villages of the Himalayas and later in Central rural India. And gradually as I wandered along the local streams and rivers, unending fields i learnt not only about myself but India and what is it to be Indian, living with various families throughout India. And to tell you, there is nothing more than a smile and an effort to make their children lives better that makes them happy. I have been independently working as a writer, photographer and filmmaker. For past many years I have been travelling the Indian subcontinent teaching and extensively documenting rural and her communities. Learning and understanding culture, communication and various ways of human mind and body. I am a student of History and did my masters in it. And later studied Sanskrit. When you realise the alignment of your spirit with the world around you, winds take you to places in the Himalayas, where you learn the ancient Yogic way of nerve healing, I can't really know myself but since then all the above mentioned things altogether has helped me generously to enter homes for shelter and food in the night. I come back to Delhi. Here mother and I run a small school for children.
